Returns & warranty

No games. Real warranty, real returns.

Every machine we sell carries a 1-year parts and labor warranty, and you have 15 days to send back an unused unit if it is not the right fit. Here is exactly how both work, in plain English, with nothing hidden in the fine print.

How a return works

1
Request an RA number

Within 15 days of delivery, email contact@groundriseequipment.com with your order number, the item and the reason. We reply with a Return Authorization number and which of our 6 warehouses it should go back to.

Day 1 is the day the carrier delivered, not the day you unpacked.
2
Repack in the original crate

Strap the machine to its pallet exactly as it arrived, with all manuals, keys, hardware and attachments inside. Write the RA number on two sides of the crate. Units that arrive loose or damaged in transit are your responsibility until they are checked in.

3
Book the return freight

Arrange an LTL carrier of your choice, or ask us to book on our account and deduct the cost from the refund. Either way, insure the shipment for its full value and keep the bill of lading.

Typical return freight runs $250 to $600 depending on distance and weight.
4
Inspection and refund

The warehouse inspects the unit within 2 business days of arrival. If it is unused and complete, the refund is issued to your original payment method and clears in 5 to 7 business days. Missing parts or damaged packaging are deducted; see the refund policy for details.

Warranty claim

How to file a claim

1
Stop and document

Shut the machine down as soon as you notice the problem to avoid making it worse. Take clear photos or a short video of the fault, the serial plate and the hour meter. Note when it started and what you were doing.

A 20-second video of the symptom saves days of back and forth.
2
Email warranty@groundriseequipment.com

Include your order number, model, serial number, hours, a description of the fault and your photos or video. A technician replies within 1 to 2 business days, usually with a diagnosis and a plan.

3
Parts, repair or replacement

Most claims are resolved by shipping the replacement part free of charge with phone support to fit it. Where labor is needed we authorize a local mechanic and cover the approved labor, or bring the unit in for repair. If a fault cannot be corrected, we replace the machine.

What the warranty does not cover
Wear items: tires, tracks, belts, blades, filters, bucket teeth, hoses, batteries
Damage from operator error, overloading or use outside the manual's limits
Lack of maintenance, wrong fluids or skipped break-in service
Modifications, non-OEM parts or repairs made without our authorization
Cosmetic issues that do not affect function, including paint, decals and minor scratches
Weather, flooding, fire, theft, vandalism or storage outdoors uncovered
Rental fleet or commercial hire use, unless a commercial plan was purchased
Travel time, towing, fuel, downtime or lost income
Damaged on arrival is not a return and not a warranty claim. It is a freight claim, and we handle it.

Note the damage on the delivery receipt before signing, photograph the crate and the machine from all sides, and email contact@groundriseequipment.com within 24 hours with your order number. We file with the carrier, and we pay for the replacement parts or the full replacement unit and its freight. If you sign clean and report damage later, the carrier will usually deny the claim, so take the two minutes at the curb.

Warranty extension

Keep the coverage running

Add up to 3 years to the standard 1-year warranty at the time of purchase or within 30 days of delivery. Extended coverage carries the same parts and labor terms and the same 1–2 day response. Pricing depends on the machine, so call or email for a quote.
